The second is to mash one avocado and mix with one tablespoon of coconut oil that you have microwaved for ten seconds. Apply to ends of hair only. Let mixture set for 15 minutes. Rinse with cool water, shampoo as usual.

Mix a bit of honey with your regular shampoo. Rinse hair well so hair is not sticky. This will make hair soft and shiny.
5. Oils
Many different oils can be used to moisturize your hair. For example olive oil, almond oil, wheat germ oil, and shea oil. You can also use herbal oils such as nettle oil, plantain oil, and burdock oil. These all have nutrients, antioxidants, and vitamins that are vital for your hair and scalp. Peanut oil is not recommended because it leaves your hair smelling like peanuts! To use any of these oils you rinse your hair with warm water. Apply oil to the palm of your hand. Work into your hair. Wrap hair in plastic wrap or a towel. Let set for as long as you like, you can even leave it in overnight. Wash out with a mild shampoo. This will leave your hair soft and smooth.
Along with these home remedies it is important to have a diet that promotes not only healthy hair but a healthy you. In your diet you should include healthy fats such as fish oils and omega 3 fatty acids. Some foods these are found in are cold-water fish, salmon, and flaxseed.
